Before designing a website, It's important to set your color palette according to the correct context - Base, Plain, Primary, Secondary, Accent 1, Accent 2.
Keeping the right context and order will ensure that sections from the library will be added with nice coherent colors to your designs.
Base - the base / background of the website (white for white-paged designs, black for black websites etc.)
Secondary - the color of regular text blocks - usually dark grey or black for bright websites. Usually white or bright grey for dark websites. Always in vast contrast to the Base color.
Accent - A "stand out" color of the brand. Usually used in buttons and call to actions.
White - Usually White :) Use it for titles that no matter what will stay white (text on darkened images as an example)
Black - Usually Black :) Use it for titles that no matter what will stay black (text on brightened images as an example)
