Editor: The Site Creator website-builder, where you can design the website, modify Static Content and connect Dynamic Content.
Static Content: Content being added inside the editor directly and can be modified using only the editor.
Dynamic Content: Content being added inside CMS and injected to the website dynamically. The content itself (picture’s URL, actual text etc.) can be modified only using the CMS, while the design of it can be controlled using the editor (font, color, place of injection etc.).
Molecule: A JSON file that includes all Dynamic Content about the practice and the website. Generally, the data comes from the CMS. The molecule includes data about the practice, providers, blog-posts etc.
Dashboard / CMS: CMS where dynamic data is being inputted.
{{Mustache}}: The templating language we’re using to inject content from the Molecule to the website. Read more about it here.
Template: A website that is used, after being cloned, as a starting point for a design.
Clone: An action that creates a new copied website from any existing website, including templates.
Section: Any Page is composed of Sections
Static Section: Section not connected to a Molecule with “Map Items to Nodes”. Can be mapped to a Molecule and then will become a Dynamic Section.
Dynamic Section: Section connected to a Molecule with “Map Items to Nodes”. Can be unmapped from a Molecule, then will become a Static Section.
Sections Library: Ready-made sections available to add. The Sections Library is available once you click the green plus in the editor, located between any two sections. This library can be edited to include any sections that the designers wish to make available for them to design with. Read more about it here.
Item: Any Section is constructed from at least one or more items.
Header: In galleries, the top header-item. Sometimes it doesn’t include any elements - then it’s hidden.
Elements: Any item is constructed from elements: Title, Subtitle, Body, Divider, Icon, Media, Button 1-2-3, Social etc. The items contain the actual content - text, picture etc.
Link: You can link any element in the system to an external page or an inner page. Links are assigned to elements using the Mini-Menu or for Dynamic Sections using the “Dynamic Linking” sub-panel. Read more about it here
Mini-Menu: The basic UI controller in the Editor. Click any element / item or section and it’ll appear. Usually with these simple actions: 1. Click element 2. Click Edit 2. Edit or follow the link. 3. Modify the Item’s layout. 4. Setup the Section.
Page: Any website is constructed from pages - homepage + inner pages.
Master Page: A single dynamic page that will be duplicated according to molecules’ items - e.g. provider page, service page, blog post page etc.
Right-Drawer: The UI drawer that pops from the right side of the editor when clicking one of the mini-menu options. Controls a specific section/item/element.
Left-Drawer: The UI drawer that pops from the left side of the editor when clicking a menu, a footer or page settings. Controls parameters that will affect the whole website.
